Frequently Asked Questions : The Answers
I had to re-install the game and my old Unlock Code is not working. What can I do?
The newly installed copy of the game will not accept your original Unlock Code because when you installed the game on a new hard drive, the game automatically created a new Product ID number that requires a new Unlock Code. You can obtain a new Unlock Code by using our re-register feature.

Do I have to buy another copy of the game to get a new unlock code?
No, you do not have to buy another copy of your game to get a new unlock code.
We apologize if you were not aware of our free re-register feature. The Activation Code that was issued at the time of purchase is all that you need to re-register (activate) your game. We will be more than happy to credit this duplicate charge for you. Please contact us via email.
For future reference, please use our re-register feature to get this new Unlock Code for free. Instructions for re-registering your game can be found here:

How can I install and register my game without an internet connection?
In order to install and register a game on a computer that is not connected to the Internet you will need to burn a copy of this game onto a CD and install it on your other (non-Internet) computer.
Once the game has been installed on your other computer, it will have a new Product ID which will require a new and unique Unlock Code.
To obtain this Unlock Code, you will need to write down the Product ID found within the new installation of the game. To get the Product ID, start the game on the new computer and click "Already Paid" followed by "I'm not connected to the Internet." Using a web enabled computer, use our following re-register link. Insert the Product ID and the e-mail address you used to purchase the game and a new Unlock Code will be automatically e-mailed to you for free.

What do I do if my e-mail address is not accepted during re-registration?
If your email address is not accepted when you try to re-register your game, it is most likely because you are using an email address other than the one you used when you originally purchased the game. To change your email address, read the following:
How do I change my email address?
What does the error message 'unable to connect to server' mean?
This error message usually means that the settings on your firewall are not allowing the game to access our server to activate the game. You can try adjusting your firewall settings or temporarily disabling your firewall so that the server can be accessed.
Also, the Unlock Code that was issued to you at the time of purchase will also activate the game. Please click on the text that reads: "I'm not connected to the Internet" to enter the Unlock Code.
If you did not receive an Unlock Code on your sales receipt, you can obtain an Unlock Code from within the game. Click the "Already Paid" button. Then click on the text which reads: "I don't have my Activation Code". A new web browser will open which will ask you for e-mail address. If you have done all of the above, but you are still unable to Activate your game, please email us for further support.
I do not use credit cards online, can I send a check?
Please use our mail order feature. Acceptable methods of payments are checks and money orders that are paid through a US Banking institution.
From within your game click on the "Buy Now" and "Pay By Mail" tab. This will display the mail order form with further directions as to what to do and where to send your payment. Please note that you will need to purchase an International Money Order (which will be in USD funds from a USA institution) from your bank as payment if you live outside of the United States.
Please be sure to include your e-mail address in the mail order form for a quick unlock code turn around. If you may have any other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to let us know.

Can I put my game on another computer?
Yes, you can install your games on any computer you own. In order to get the full version of your game that you have previously purchased working on another computer, please read the following:

Where is my Unlock Code?
If you used Quick Pay, you will notice that you did not have to enter an unlock code. That is by design as we entered it for you at the time of your purchase. If you would like to have the unlock code on file, please note that it should be in the text of an email that you should have received shortly after purchase.
If you did not receive a receipt you may have entered your e-mail address incorrectly at the time of purchase.
Also, PayPal payments paid by e-check typically take 3-4 days for the funds to clear from your account into our account. Once the funds have been cleared, an automatic e-mail with the unlock code for the game will be sent to the e-mail address that you have on file with PayPal. The receipt that you received from PayPal was simply a confirmation that a transaction has taken place.
I'm having problems playing a game. What can I do?
Many times crashing or lockup issues can be resolved by simply uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
If you're having problems with your video, simply updating Direct X or your video card's drivers will usually fix the problem. Check Windows Update, or with your video card manufacturer's web site, for the latest drivers for your card.
If you're having problems with your sound, many older soundcards aren't fully compatible with Microsoft DirectX. Usually, simply updating your soundcard drivers will fix any strange sound problems you may encounter. Check with your manufacturer (or your soundcard manufacturer's web site) for the latest drivers.
You can find the latest version of Direct X from Microsoft here.
